Where do I find all games for Sharp MZ-1500?

I have the emulator MZ700win and I know other games this computer, mainly Tecno Soft's games (I have only Thunder Force 1).

This site I know, thanks! :D
But is there only those games? From what I saw on the site, are games of the series Sharp MZ (MZ-700, 800 etc.)..

Someone has only the Sharp MZ-1500? I even like to use Winny or Share to find something. But unfortunately I can not use these programs ...

If you need help with Winny or Share check out Anonymous-P2P.org.

Check http://www.sharpmz.org/index.html

under "Download". There you'll find two games specificially for the Mz1500, though there might be some cross-compatibility with Mz800. Haven't toyed around with emulators for these machines yet. I had some images somewhere, but can't find those at the moment. Haven't seen any large specific Mz1500 packs in share, although there weren't many games released to beginn with, but still it's a little surprising there isn't more around.

I too have not played around much with these emulators, so I don't really know if any of this is useful ( just a handful of games really ):

Some of the "Unknown" ones seem to run, on an idiot-level test by me. :)

Happy new year to all!,

Lately I've been compiling all the real MZ-1500's binary games I've found over the net. The MZ-1500 games are usually funny and all of them have a special taste (MZ-700's heritage I guess) to create colourful playgrounds.

Basically I've packed the following:

    - Cosmic Cruiser 3
    - Devil Land
    - Tower of Druaga
    - Feizer 21
    - Holy Knight
    - Star fighter
    - Snake World
    - Xetter '91
    - Yokai
    - Zolvass
    - Supernatural Creature Conquest Shujiro

Image Image Image

Here they are: http://www.sendspace.com/file/olxvlv

All of them are binary games; so they're executed without the need to load BASIC. Simply set the mzt file as QD and load it.

MZ700WIN is the best MZ-1500 emulator out there. To use it in MZ-1500 mode the MZ-1500 rom is needed.
As I haven't been able to find it, I've dumped and built myself the ROM:

MZ1500.ROM

Are there any other games/programs available?. I'm specially looking the MZ-1500 Sharp BASIC: MZ-5Z001. Has anyone a mzt of this BASIC?
A lot of MZ-1500's BASIC games are waiting an interpreter... :)

Happy gaming!

Now this time, I've uploaded a MZ-1500's games BASIC collection:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/adhzw6

Sadly, as I've mention before, without the Sharp BASIC interpreter (MZ-5Z001) are useless...:-(

Eugea is an interesting side scrolling action game exlusive for the MZ. Doujin game.

Here is info on it http://www.openspc2.org/mz700/EUGEA.html

I don't have a disk image of it, just seen a video once. Its dumped and out there somewhere though... Here is a screen from the MZ700win page:

You can find EUGEA here. It's an impressive game (as usually are all the games from Mr. Furuhata); but it's a MZ-700 game and doesn't make use of the PCG features of the MZ-1500. It's totally compatible tho...

Now I must find the way to port the 5Z001 mzt file to QD, seems that it's overwriting a monitor's incompatible memory area and I can't save it to disk.
Anyone knows if it's possible to save a binary file from inside Sharp BASIC?, I've been only able to find SAVE (BTX files) and SAVE...,A (ASCII FILES); but no OBJ files :(

Anna_wu pointed me up that there's no "Supernatural Creature Conquest Shujiro" game in the pack, heck!, I listed it twice with two different names: "Yokai" = "Supernatural..."

So beware MZ-1500 collectors out there, there's no "Supernatural Creature Conquest Shujiro" game. Here's the corrected list:

    - Cosmic Cruiser 3
  • Devil Land
  • Tower of Druaga
  • Feizer 21
  • Holy Knight
  • Star fighter
  • Snake World
  • Xetter '91
  • Yokai (妖怪征伐ヒデジロー)
  • Zolvass

As Basic 5Z0001 is already available I want to recommend the pack of MZ-1500 Basic games linked in this page (go to the bottom): MZ-1500 自作オリジナルゲーム(BASIC)

To play them, do the following in MZ700win 0.53:

1) Set QD "5Z001.mzt"
2) Boot QD. Ignore errors if any...
3) Once loaded BASIC, set QD "maru_basgame.mzt"
4) From BASIC prompt, type "DIR"

Image

5) Type "RUN" overwriting the file listing and press ENTER when done

There're excellent games like "Protect the flowers!" (花を守れ!)

Image

Enjoy!

P.D.: Still looking for more MZ-1500 games. I've been near of some of them; but every single QD game usually sells by huge amounts of money
