Hey guys,

So, there is an old school promotional video for the NEC PC-FX system, you can see it here :

During the entrance of Mai-chan between ~ 0:18 - 0:30 ~ , a cool song is playing which is totally unknown to me.
I've been searching for it...more than 10 years. In fact there is a post of mine in the old pcengine-fx.com, asking the same question with no luck + there s a 13years old question of mine in the video's comment section with the...same result xD .

Does anyone know anything about it? If you can't help me then there is no hope.

I'm decently familiar with the PC-FX, unfortunately this tune doesn't ring a bell. I don't think it comes from the console's library.

Hey Kaminari,

if my memory serves me correctly, 10+ years ago I did a deep search in the PC-FX 's game library and non of the games had this tune. So, yeah, the possibilty of being a PCFX game tune is extremely low.

So, here's an unexpected update!

I won an auction and soon (or later) the VHS will be mine!



It's an AB condition which means good enough, probably perfect.

Strangely enough, weeks after my post here I discovered a site that claimed to host the video file. Long story short, it ended up being a download adv-payment scam ~no, I didn't pay! ~ !
Having no other choice, I decided to buy the real stuff. It wasn't expensive (around 5 euros) but the shipping + custom taxes will do an 100-120% increase of the original price. Importing from Japan is a bad idea no matter what.

Fingers crossed.

Hey! Update time.

I have the tape in my hands (props to the FEDex). As expected, it's condition is excellent.

The answer to the main question: YES, the song is there but ...unfortunately it seems to be a small gig just for the VHS production.

Is it an interesting video?
Well...it's for sure weird..the cringe factor is high. A young girl walking around, dreaming, playing, swimming, smelling flowers etc
Of course, the production encourages you to see her sexy side.A typical love letter to the Japanese pervertism.
There is a reason why the Japanese men are called huge perverts.
Thank god, Mai Hosho was 18 at that period of time...otherwise, it would be really akwkard ~it still is~ .

I've spent a LOT.. but it was something I had to do it. Case closed .
