Seems like the regular Windows version is the only one in existence. Some other OSs that are gaining popularity are iOS and Android.

Do you think this home computer deserves another place in home/portable entertainment along with regular Windows?

Porting UNZ to multiple OSes would be a fun project. In the meantime, a portable Hoot player could do me a big favor.

UNZ is/was not open source.
MESS have a cross-platform support (some parts of the driver are based on Shouhei Nishi's FM Towns patches to Bochs.)

Should I let someone borrow my FM TOWNS computer in order to make an emulator from scratch or what? If so, who?

I spent an enormous amount of money, including shipping, in order to get the FM TOWNS II HR overseas.

What exactly should I do to it after I use it to make gameplay video and analog style recordings of the soundtrack to the ultra rare 3-disk FM TOWNS version of Asuka 120% BURNING Fest.?

I wonder why the author of UNZ hasn't made source freely available. Has anyone ever contacted him? If not, I say we put our heads together and draft a friendly greeting.

I tried to contact him, but no answer. Perhaps we should stick with Windows tablets for extra portable convenience.

Android seems to be lacking supporters in emulators. I wonder if I could find someone who can create an FM TOWNS emulator for Android?

*bump*

There's NP2 for PC-98 emulation on Android, while there's the PX68K for the same OS. No FM TOWNS emulation other than on Windows.
