Can someone test some games there and tell us about the compatibility?
My FM collection is small and I must search in a mountain of dvds to find em :P

btw, this emu seems extremely promising.

Yes, although I don't like too much multi-system emulators, this one seems pretty cool. And maybe it's "multi-systemness" (new word) helps to keep the programmer interested, as it's more diverse than a lone system. Unfortunately, we are seeing a lot of emulators being abandoned these days.

Hey, it's nice, the Car Marty is supported in XE... I'm even cited in the news :)

Hi there, long time no see :)

I was trying to make XE work under my linux, I installed XE and it runs, but I stumbled upon the same old problem : the marty.rom is not recognized any more. The files I provided (see page 3) and worked before aren't good now.

Anyone got the right roms for the last version, 2.16 ?

Unfortunately the author doesn't provide the MD5 sum for the needed bios files :( in this case I could try to rebuild them myself !

Aaaargh... the sum is the same... You uploaded the roms I'm providing since years. Thanks a lot anyway ;)

OK, so now I'm sure there's something wrong in my XE installation on my linux. The only difference I found is that your rom is called "Marty.rom", and mine "marty.rom". Could it be just a question of caps ?

[EDIT]
Well it was not a question of caps ! It was the way I installed XE that was wrong, I had to put all the files in my profile in the ~/.xe directory and it worked.
So I could start the emulation, the floppy disks boot, but not the CD-ROM images : XE keep giving me an error.
The real CD-ROMs work, but the emu is slow as hell. Eh.
Anyway, I found a way to make UNZ work under Linux with wine, it was tricky (I spent almost 4 hours to make it work), see here if you're interested : http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?f ... 06&e=87906. I'll stick to that now !
[/EDIT]
