I'm sure that it would be easy to answer and a piece of cake for most of you; but as my japanese knowledge is pretty basic, I'm puzzled with this.

I own a PC-8801FE that doesn't boot into BASIC as my other PC-8801 (FH model) does. So, does it needs a BASIC system disk to boot into BASIC?. It only shows a screen with function keys at the bottom and a japanese message at the top that I can barely understand "............. iretekudasai" or something like that...
I've been looking for info here and over the web without success. Seems that this model is far from popular.

Btw, it boot games flawlessly and seems to work fine.

If all of this doesn't ring a bell, I can post a (bad) picture of the message...

It's asking for you to insert a disk. I can't quite make out the first few letters, so I'm not sure what the first word is.

Thanks!; but I've just found a better solution

Seems that someone saved this boot configuration in the BIOS. Entering the PC-8801 BIOS configuration pressing [PC] key while booting and changing the setting to boot from ROM has been enough to enter BASIC
