Hello, being a big Go Nagai fan i'd like to discuss about this RPG based on his manga shutendoji. The gameplay seems to be pretty basic and standard, the musics are nice and the GFX are pretty bad outside of battle and very nice when in battle. Shutendoji tells the story of a boy who was carried in the world in the mouth of a horrible demon beast and then given in adoption to a human couple. The boy is unaware of his true supernatural origins until he becomes 15, then his destiny starts to unfold... The manga is pretty good, carrying all of his classic themes: the impossibility to completely divide good from evil, the necessity of exploring the darkness to find the truth and the light, the struggle of life and the strong will to fight etc. The game was also ported on PC-98. |
