Hello, thanks to Macaw i've discovered this little gem.
It's a very odd action/adventure game, in which you take the role of a wandering spirit which is capable to possess other bodies. The intro shows us the rising of a strange fortress from the sea, accompained by some japanese text and a very nice music (by Cristal King).
The game, apart from that intro text, seems to be completely in english.
It's very charming and addicting, it has a strange atmosphere just between melancholy and mystery. The minimal alien building has strange textures and recalls ancient civilizations. It works very well in building a beautiful atmosphere.
The only complaint i have is about the scrolling, it's pretty choppy but after a while you just adapt to it.
Important note: to access the inventory turn up and press down.

Ports:
PC-8801
PC-9801
X1/turbo
X68000
FM7/77/77AV
MZ-2500
MSX
Windows98 - XP [Win] (in the RELICS anthology, which collects all the versions of the game with an emulator fixing the scrolling problem).
I have all of them with the exception of the PC98 and of the Windows ports. If anyone of you has them, please share!

Also there are two sequels for windows, both made by BothTec, Relics the recur of "Origin" and Relics the 2nd birth in the very late '90s. I'm missing both so again, please share, if you happen to have a copy of those.
There is a spin off for the famicom disk system, Relics Ankoku Yousai, which is a shooter, but i haven't tried it yet.
Also there seems to be a canceled xbox game regarding the relics universe, but i wasn't able to track down a lot of info about it.

BTW, i'm stuck so anyone has played and completed it, please give me an hint ;)

Good news. The game works fine. The CD has data and audio tracks in it. I've tried doing a CloneCD image of it and installing and running the game with it. It works fine and it doesn't seem to need a crack.
I'll upload it soon. Stay tuned!
