Hello, guys. I am new to this forum. But I need help starting up this game in particular.

Image

I booted up the game using the SYSTEM disk in there, then it asks for the two disks. So I tried mounting some of the disks, but after it gets to T79 (I don't know what that is, I think it is for indicating progress or something) it gives me this error. So I need help on how to progress because I can't figure this error out.

Can you guys help me with this?

P.S. My .d88 file has six disks named Disk A, Disk B, Disk C, SYSTEM, USER, and OMAKE if that helps.

er... what you did was formatting a disk...I hope you have a backup file

it says:
insert system disk to drive 1
insert blank(user) disk to drive 2
this will fomat the disk and create a save disk
hit return key
formatting disk
copying disk 79T
completed, now put disk A to drive 1 and hit reset button

I didn't use X88000 but it worked fine on M88

I forgot to make a backup file. Whoops. Still, thanks for helping me with this error. In the future, I'll have to make backup files next time I see this screen.

Again, thanks for the help, nom@d.

Pass is FMV

You shouldn't run into any problem running this one, I hope ;)

You need to first create a User Disk like Nomad described, then boot Disk A (ESC skips the intro; switch to Disk B when it tells you to) until the character creation process, leaving the User Disk in drive 2 at all time. Reboot the game with Disk B in Drive 1, and your User Disk in Drive 2 to finally begin the game, phew!
