I actually found one of these. It's missing the Kanji ROM board, and I guess that's as good an indicator as any that this really is the rare limited American-release PC-88.

No keyboard though, and without that there's really no point in even trying to power it on. None of the good games run on it because of missing video modes, and none of the keyboard converters that exist (and they all seem to exist only as plans/schematics) support the first-gen PC-88 anyway.

So who wants it?
