Anyone have the V2 640x200 version of Helicoid? My image only supports V1 (PC-8801) and V2 640x400 (PC-8801 mkII), and it seems there's an 3-bit color version according to Y. ROMI. It's on EGG if I really need it.

V2 640x400 should be monochrome. Is that really the display you're getting? I'm just getting the usual messed up colors when a game that's supposed to run in V1 mode is started with V2. . Maybe the game really just means MKII in it's selection, rather than the SR model. I have no idea why it would do that of course, because what is the difference between the the original and the MKII again, the disk drive? Maybe it affects loading.

I also checked out the screens at Project Egg, can't tell a difference compared to regular V1 mode.

Looks like I needed to use V1 S, not H. My mistake then.

However, I'm still getting issues with SeeNa. My copy has the system, data, and Widescreen disks; the latter boots (then asking me to swap for system and then for Widescreen), but the former won't. Anyone had this problem before or have alternate versions that work in M88kai (using the most recent version from the Neo Kobe pack)?

Just tried what you said (wide>system>wide swapping) and got it working though the HUD doesn't seem to be displayed correctly. Maybe I need to change some settings.
On the other hand if I just boot system+data it works perfectly.

Thanks! But the game stucks after loading. I just see a circle.

This happens if you run the game in V2 mode.
Just change to V1 beforehand and it should work.
