That's great! Now we can play CD games using Daemon Tools without the problems with the audio tracks. I'll try it soon.

Nice, with source code.
Unfortunately, it doesn´t work on WinXP.

I know, thanks.
My internal CD-ROM drive (Notebook) is broken at moment, so I like to use an virtual CD-ROM emulator (Daemon Tools).
For this case I need a IOCTL access method instead of ASPI.

Anna: Did you try installing something as ForceASPI?

It seems weird that DT doesn't work with the ASPI layer..

Thank you so much for your effort, delikea.
Unfortunately, it is still not working for me.
I´m using WinXP Pro SP3 32-bit, Daemon Tools V4.09H, M88 V2.21 (included newer unofficial versions).
Of course, cdbios.rom is already available.
Tried
Mirrors (CloneCD format)
Takarabako (DiscJuggler format)

PS: newer unofficial M88 builds
I like to translate (English) the GUI but the source code for these versions is not available and the binaries are checksum/crc protected. The programmer(s) is/are anonymous (no email address, no any other contact address).

pass 8801

Change M88.EXE.
Drag and drop into this program.
CRC check is updated.

Oki, problem solved. I changed the range for the CD-ROM drive letter.
Before my broken internal CD-ROM drive was D: and the virtual CD-ROM was F:
Now it is reversed and your last nonASPI version is working. : )

Thanks again, delikea, good job!

It's not working for me :(
I've replaced the original cdif.m88 with the non aspi one included in the first package. I mounted the Mirrors image in Daemon Tools but it doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong?

Which Windows OS (32-bit or 64-bit)?
Which version of Daemon Tools?
CD image (Mirros) format?
Is the ASPI version working (depent of the OS)?
Is the Takarabako image working by using nonASPI?
What is your drive letter range for the physical and virtual CD-ROM drive(s)?

PS: My M88 version need a CPU Clock Speed of 8MB or higher to run Mirrors.

Well...

-Windows 7 64 bit
-Daemon tools v 4.40.2.0131
-Clone CD format: CCD, CUE, IMG and SUB
-The physical burned copy works, but it doesn't play CD Audio.
Mounting the image and launching the non aspi version of M88 doesn't work, it returns the "how many files?" screen.
-Yes, it works
-Physical drive: f: Daemon Drive: l:

Thanks! :)
