It was closed almost a month ago and it's definitely not coming back. I dare to say that we lost the Alexandrian Library of retrogaming - god only knows how many games and informations is lost forever.

Oh SUCKS. Tons of ultra rare stuff is now lost forever... :(

After some research, I've found the IRC channel for the UG community irc://irc.esper.net/UG
it seems that UG won't be back again, but there is some work in converting the torrents in serverless ones, in order to not lose all the huge library that has been built up in the years.

This is the converter, it's very easy to use. There's also an Unofficial UG's Refugee Board.
