Is it playable for a non japanese speaker?
Edit: I've done some research on the web and it looks like all dialogues are in japanese... :(

Hard to tell, I'm guessing it helps if you have experience with the English Sierra release, and you might be able to muddle through. But menus for example (such as in town) are still in Japanese, despite what you see on the screenshot at the bottom.

Guess I'll give it up, at least for now - I still have thousands of games I fully understand to play with. I only hope that I won't regret it one day, all the links are dying so quickly... Anyway, thanks for the info.

Lol, it's not a "once in a lifetime chance", you know

Who knows... If I remeber about it in, let's say, 10 years because of some special occassion and then I will decide that I should at least test it? Will there still be Tokugawa Corp. with helpful Starscream the 2nd who'll gladly upload it once again for me? With all that corporational assault on free data flow by the internet? So to download it now is the wisest thing which still can be done, just to be sure. Unfortunately I can't afford to archive every game which kind people upload here with my small HDD, hence my dilemma. To download or not to download, that is the question... :D

I own this. Unfortunately, I could never learn to play any of the Sorcerian games, even though I really wanted to. Someday I'll have to try with a walkthrough.

Can someone please reupload Sorcerian Forever? The file seems to be not available.

I was starting to worry it was a once in a lifetime chance, after all. :D

I was able to translate the menus and town dialogue. Unfortunately the Quest stuff is compressed and encoded :*(

Hope this helps those who want to play it - http://www.romhacking.net/translations/2699/
