People keep emailing me commenting that they can't register for this board.

Are all new registrations closed?

No they aren't but for some reason, some fail to be registered correctly. They shouldn't e-mail you about this

Well, people emailing me about forums I don't run provides a welcome break from people emailing me asking them to send them 200 MB of games or wondering why my site hasn't been updated recently.

I'm really glad I've finally found time to read the whole Floppy Tavern - I just died from laughter with this thread. Actually it was me who spammed poor Ryo with such e-mails (this "200 MB of games" he mentioned might also be me). I remember counting every single minute while waiting for account activation, I was literally going out of my mind. In the end the mail from Ben never came... Three months later I tried to log in once more just to find out that... my account is activated and I DON'T REMEBER THE PASSWORD! It took me a few hours to "hack" it but finally I made it. There I found a PM from Ben with an explanation why the activation took longer than usual... Never had a chance to apologize for such behaviour, might as well do it now: sorry for being so impatient. Now I'm really happy I can be here with you all - it's been only two years ago but I feel like it was a decade or so. Thanks for everything and sorry for being a little sentimental with such private content in a public forum - I just had to. Long live Tokugawa Corp.!
