Great idea! They're playable without installing and fighting with older/newer OS compatibility issues. Respect to the authors, must have been a lot of work for them. Thanks for the info al32gabby - I'm checking a full CD set for 3DO with superb 4DO on a new multithreaded CPU right now (my ancient single 1,3 GHz went up in a smoke a month ago, let it rest in peace or rather pieces), but I think that trying one of these won't be bad for a change.

I've won some of these long ago (particularly the JAST localizations), some of them are quite good.
I remember Runaway City having a reference to Gunstar Heroes at some point, something about the guy being (cosplaying) "the third Gunstar". And you could actually lose!

If you like visual novels, you should definitely play some of those. Unless you despise the H-scenes.

No, I don't despise H-scenes - a good hentai is not half bad. I think I'll like VNs, I have played EVE burst error 'till the end a few years ago and a little of Ever17 -the out of infinity- and Remember11 -the age of infinity-. I was literally crying while checking the whole PC-98 database - all these beautiful VNs which I can't play because of the language barrier... So every working title in understandable language is like a treasure for me .
