Seems to be the same set as another I have - unpacks to a folder called 98XX_games.

I think you're right - there's nothing new in it.

Thanks for the info, downloading both now. PC-88 pack is not space demanding, so I'm not going to do anything with it right now, but PC-98 set is definitely too big for me to be kept in it's etirety, so I'm going to check it for any new content right after the download is complete.

The nice thing is that the Internet Archive is extremely unlikely to make like the Megauploads of this world and suddenly be taken down. :)

This was a crazy ride, but Ben's database saved the day once again. No new content in the pack - I even dare to say it's very incomplete with a lot of quite common games missing.

Well, I found some I did not have. The other interesting thing is the multiple dumps in different formats, which I assume are different original dumps, and that might be useful, especially if there have been bad format conversions ( a possibility given what Ashura posted somewhere about extra tracks ).

You're right about different dumps - I've filtered about a 1 GB (340 archives) to take a closer look at later. ;) But unfortunately nothing more for me.

This seems to have been updated - a bunch of files from Nov 2014. Maybe just a different sort??

EDIT: Looks just like a conversion to .rar.
