i found out it 's about user disk
so the game needs it to work properly but i didn't manage to get it work simply by inserting a blank copy of disk 1 (opened with note and eresing the content) (for some reason i tought it could work ^^)

so how does the user' s disk stuff really work?
anyone got this game working have some advice?

thanks in advance

To create user disk:
1. Select create user disk (2nd option)
2. Insert new disk into Floppy Drive 1 (You can create new disks on emulators like XM6)
3. Press the Return Key and wait.

To play game:
1. Select Game Start (1st option)
2. Insert user disk into Floppy Drive 0, and insert Disk 3 into Floppy Drive 1
3. Press V

Trickless is right, erasing the disk's content just won't do it ;)

Tried this game in Win68k and it ran too fast. Any idea how to fix the emulation issues with this game? Also, has the regular(non-CD) PC98 version of the game been uploaded on this site yet? I did a search and wasn't able to find it.

Win68k doesn't work for me.

Neither i find a downloadable link from the site you linked.

It's seems to have the same emulation speed problem on both.

When i get to the boss of the first stage it kills me also without touchin me.

I guess it shoot something that i can't see due the emulation problem.

I was able to get it to run better in X68K by reducing the speed to 4 MHz. It runs choppy, though.

The x68 version of Dios is supposed to run in its stupid speed, its a rather rough port from the original.

You guys should really just play the pc88 version, the x68 one has shortened cinematics, and many of the bosses don't even fire projectiles at you like in the pc88 version, which is totally stupid.

And the first boss killing you without touching you is because of the games bad hit detection. Just get as far away from it as possible and then try to kill it from a distance.
