XM7'(DASH) is a FM-77 emulator using XM7 source code with some modifications. It was originally named XM7(+), but due to some transliteration problems the XM7(+) in some cases appeared as XM7(PLUS), which was a name too similar to another XM7 mod, called XM7LP. So, the author went with the dash, meaning "subspecies of XM7". Nice, huh?
Originally it came in several binaries (as the official XM7), but now all source code changes are merged into one single binary.
