Right now I use my original X1 for tape games and the X1-D for floppy games. I'd love to use the X1-D for both tapes and floppies, but I don't have a tape drive for the X1-D and they're pretty expensive on YAJ. It looks like it uses a digital tape drive so I can't just plug in a regular tape deck.

Does anybody know the pinout for the CMT port (it's different than on the MZ-700/1500), and if it's possible to wire up an adapter that'd let me use something like a Commodore 64 Datasette with it?
