Hi Folks,

This is my first post, so thanks to Starscream for showing me this forum! I'm glad there's a forum dedicated to old JP computers!

Anyway, I've heard the MZ-1500, with its nearly identical to the Famicom Disk system Quickdisk drive can actually read/write/copy FDS disks.

I even saw a picture once on a Japanese site of a FDS drive connected to a MZ-1500, but they didn't show the backs of the units and how they connected them.

Does anyone know anything about this or also own a MZ-1500 or 800 system?

-Rob

I've got both an MZ-1500 with QD drive and a FDS, so I'd be happy to test it if somebody has instructions.

I think the MZ-1500 and MZ-800 are incompatible despite being nearly identical, so the software would have to run on the Japanese MZ-1500 for me to use it.
