I have heard in the myths told by the old people that there is supposedly 1 cd game for x68000 but I can't find any info about it.

Does anyone know anything about this and have pictures of it?

Maybe it's not an urban legend.

About three or four years ago I found this picture while surfing the japanese yahoo auctions:

http://www.subirimagenes.com/otros-xcee ... 11293.html

The name of the software is "Xceed".
Watch closely and you will notice the "X" drawn with the typical shape of the X68000 logo.

As you can read it was created in 1996 by Ion Project and it says in the cover: "CD-ROM for X680x0 & others". I wonder if it's compatible with other japanese computers like PC-98 or FM-Towns, and what kind of software is.

I suspect it's some kind of "Paint" or something like that. In other words, not a game.

I haven't found anything about this cd-rom and the doujin group Ion Project in the internet.
Any clue?

There are more CDs made for X68000 than just this one. I believe that the Xceed CD-Rom is not an official publication but a doujin publication and the next ones whose images I've linked below are aldo doujin publications. I believe that these CDs contain archives of various X68000 disk magazines. As for Xceed, I don't know what it is.

I was able to download two of these or similar CD-Roms from winny years ago when I first worked on the X68000 files for TOSEC, but TOSEC has very strict rules for CD-Roms (which includes that someone in TOSEC own the original CD-Roms) that prevented these files to be released with the TOSEC set. I feel like buying these CDs sometime and releasing them with TOSEC myself.

Have you still got them? Would you mind sharing them?

Yes I just found them on an old DVD. I'll upload the images to rapidshare soon.

I believe that I have these two discs. The zip in which the two disc images are in is called 電脳倶楽部パフェクトコレクションVol1-100, which says Dennou Club Perfect Collection Vol 1-100. I remember that 50 magazines were on each CD. Each CD shown below has vol 1-50 and vol 51-100. So the following images below may be the covers of the CDs that I have.

Those are actually... games? It is true after all, even when they are doujin.
I wonder if any commercial release existed back in the day.
