I bid on this set thinking it was something else.

Some of these look a bit rough - 18+ please.

Some disks are in Mac format (.hfv) and some in DOS format (.img) ( which Macs could read ). Some Mac ones require installation, most are 68k, one at least for PPC. Beware of Patti's Diary which hides the Mac menu bar and I could find no easy way to quit it. IE: use at your own risk. 20 sets and some pretty postcards that probably belong to one of the sets.

Thanks to al32gabby for naming help.

Do playable doujin games for Mac exist (and can be uploaded somehow)?

Not to my knowledge. Many Japanese Mac games are rare enough to find on their own anyway, without necessarily being doujin. Shareware games are what thrived on the Mac scene rather than doujin (you can download many of them here.) Probably due to low market share and the fact that it was more expensive than other computers.

There is one possible exception which comes to mind depending on your definition of doujin. That would be the "Itachoco" series of games. These self-stated "kuso games" were homemade and sold by Rashou around a few shops that he set up across various locations in Japan. Rashou also made the seminal Bokosuka Wars game. You can buy the 32-bit Windows versions of Itachoco games here. Windows versions stopped after the first five games I think, but meanwhile several more were released on Mac. Yaken Rodem was actually released on PS Vita not too long ago as "Rodem The Wild". I will dump the ones I have as I obtain them (unfortunately not Yaken Rodem, as my floppy of it is damaged.) PS, I will also dump Samurai Mech shortly (I have been really wanting to upload this game for a while.)
