Hi all,
I'm trying to make working a patch for Motos (a game from Namco).This game uses custom trackloaders, infact if you try to open a disk image or list its directory it will result as empty .
This patch would let you install the game on HD and then launch from it.

Following the japanese manual (included in the archive) I have extracted 15 files from a Motos disk image but when I launch the "motos.x" file I got an error saying me that I don't have enough memory.How is it possible?I set the memory amount at 12MB in XM6 emulator and tried also on my real X68000 with 6MB getting the same error.
The manual says:

"motos.x実行時には800Kバイト弱の空きメモリが必要です"
Which thanslated sould be:
"motos.x requires less than 800K at run time"
What does it mean exactly?

If someone wants to give a try, I attached two archives: 'motos.rar' contains the extraction program (mkmotos.x) and the executable itself (motos.x) as well as the japanese manual, while 'extracted.rar' archive contains the files I extracted from a disk image.

Ok, I solved by myself.I found on the personal page of the author the lastet version of the patch who fixes the problem of insufficient memory when you don't have anything resident in high memory.So I attach here both archives: 'motos_new.zip' is the new patch (if you want to extract the files by yourself) while motos_HDD is the game already installed, all you have to do is extract the archive in your 68000 HDD (real or under emulation) and launch the file !Start.bat.
Tested succesfully on XM6 emulator and a X68000 CompactXVI, it works also on 2MB machines.
