Never seen this referenced here and rarely anywhere else:
http://www.emu-france.com/?page=fichiers&idMachine=158

Problem: it needs bios files. And I haven't seen the needed files or any kind of software dumps.

Check this out:

Since this emulator is a kind of shareware, in order to run it properly,
you need to get a license (password) from the author.
But unfortunately, all the related web sites have been closed several years ago.
So that, it seems there are no way to contact the author, at this moment.

Regards,

A rare beast tho. The Hitachi S1, fujitsu's FM-77 line and Sharp MZ-2500 were, suposedly, the most advanced machines of its family. I would love to see this S1 emulator running :)

Have you tried to visit the cached copy of the closed web sites at archive.org ?

I found the email of the emu author, so someone who knows japanese could try contacting him. I doubt he would share the bios or roms though, but worth a shot I guess.
I would certainly be interested on checking out this emulator because I don't know anything about the system.

Edit: Seems the email is also on the emulator lol so this wasn't a big finding after all ^^

Seems that there're no BIOS over the net :(

No S1 users here?, in the archived pages is detailed the procedure to dump the BIOS.

Right. Here's one version of the emulator's homepage:

Found via the page , there was a huge computermuseum here  :
