I guess the needed DirectShow filter is missing.
Check the px7.txt

Quote:
To use *.ogv image, you need to install the DirectShow filter.
http://www.xiph.org/dshow/downloads/

Download and install the opencodecs.

I suggest to convert the .OGV format to AVI with the correct resolution (512x384).
If you use the .AVI format, don´t forget to copy the needed .ini file(s) into the root of ePX-7.
Quote:
To use *.avi image, you need *.ini files that contains the frame info.
*.ini files are in px7/ folder in this binary archive.

XMedia Recode is a easy converter and freeware.

Thank you Anna_Wu, i missed the px7.txt remarks.
XMedia Recode is a great freeware tool (thanks for the gif tutorial as well) and i converted Cosmos Circuit to AVI with it. Program loaded well and intro works, but couldnt start the game. I will have to convert another one and test it.
Greetings!

If you keep the file "XM7V1EN.dll" in the directory, the official version also displays the menus in english, so there would be no need of an unofficial one, am I right?

Yes, you are right.
I didn't post the news about the new Internationalization DLL' s because of some inconsistencies.
Example: "English Translation 2014 by Toma" (About window)
Toma compiled the *new* DLL' s and published it. The translation was made by Ben.JP and me.
Check the README-EN.txt and readme-1st.txt files.

About other things I didn't want to talk in the public.
