Looking to see what this was, I encountered this error

I realy have no idea what it is (nor could I find it with google), but could this be Sram related ?

It's a utility to speed up floppy disk access. You should disable it because it's rather pointless in an emulator, and can cause problems.
BTW the error says to write-enable the disk.

Well that's.....amazingly helpfull. Thanks, gonna see if it'll work now :D

Edit: where do you find both of these options ?

Not sure which emu you used. I guess you are talking about the XM6 > Tools > Options > Misc > Fast Floppy.

To make the image write-enable change the file attribute(s) or unzip the image if it`s zipped.

X68KHighSpeed, english. Also, the dim file isn't read-only. Do I have to convert it to XDF ?

I looked at the disk. Actually the speedup utility and the write-protect error are unrelated.
check.x is executed before the main program and halts if the disk is write-protected.

Try this one:

This should work, but if it doesn't, edit the autoexec.bat file on disk and REM out or delete "check.x" and "HS2HD" (optional).
