I spent a week with Ryu Umemoto, composer of YU-NO, XENON, Eve burst error and Desire recently and wrote an article about it where he goes back to talk about some of these games. Seeing you guys are the biggest fans of these games, I figured it might be of interest to some.

Cool piece. I'm not all too familiar with his work, but he sounds like an interesting guy to hang out with.

Yu-no and Eve Burst Error soundtracks are really great, you should consider checking them out.

Umemoto/Shimada is my favorite PC-98 composer and all-around FM hero. He used to come around the SoundShock forums with Hally (founder of Vorc and music manager at Egg Project). Fantastic genius.

Very nice article, Akumu! I might have a few questions for you soon.
