I originally found a dos version of this and couldn't get it to run with sound which led me to here where I found a pc-98 version here on the forums. It isn't an image file, though, and I was wondering if you could help this poor newbie.

I read everything, but I'm still not getting how to run games... I can't even figure out how to access the config menu...

Edit: Wait, nvm... maybe... found config, still not how to run anything... sorry...

Which emulator are you using to run it? Also, is it a .hdi version or .fdi?

Anex86, and it appears to be just the files that would be on the hd than an image. I've made an hard disc image and a cd boot floppy image and I am trying to see if I can get that to work now.

Hi, welcome to Tokugawa Corp. Forums!

First, if the game you're trying to play is a bunch of files you'll have to put them all on an image (it can be a floppy image if the size is small, or a harddisk image)

For this you can use DiskExplorer, open a blank image then drag-and-drop the game files into it.

You probably don't have a blank image either, here I uploaded a blank image along with an image with DOS on it and CD support (provided by someone on the forums, I don't remember who did n.nU)

Images has to be mounted on, that can be achieved usually by clicking the "mount" button and browsing for your image. Nowadays interfaces are pretty instinctive, really.

EDIT: Well, it seems that you've managed to make some images from the files.. maybe the booting DOS image can help you. Alternatively you can try with Neko Project 2 or T-98.

Thanks for everyone's help, finally figured it out after putting everything into a big ball and finding where the information overlaps.

I believe that .hdi belongs to zblack.

I guess you will see me around here more often, as I have a great love for old stuff.

Don't worry about it. It seems, anyway, that one method for running one game doesn't necessarily work for another.
