While browsing through Gontajin's list I noticed that Zavas 1 & 2 are filed under Popcom Soft, no mention of Glodia.

Yet judging from the games startup screens it's pretty obvious that Glodia was involved. Ideas anyone ?

I also noticed that D'Babos isn't included in Himeya Soft (or anywhere else).

Popcom Soft were the publisher. look at this site http://vaindream.com/GLODIA/soft.html

In the screenshots section I've always wondered whether games get listed under the developer or publisher. Its a tricky subject that can cause a lot of confusion over who actually developed the game.

Actually I never bothered. The first company name I saw while running the game or looking through the files was good.

I guess I should sort it under Glodia (developper) and indicate that Popcom is the publisher.

Well games should be listed under publisher as that is what people are likely to list them under if they sell them (and that is how I sort games out in my collection).

One thing about emulating games is the fact unless you have the box it is very hard to know who the publisher / developer is as you might get 2 or 3 names on the Title screen but the box would clearly state who is the publisher and from there you can work out the developer (although it will probably state this on the manual).

"D'BaBos" stands for "D'ark", "Bacta" and "Phobos" I believe.
The correct name for the disk according to the PC98x1 Gamelist is "Tokubetsu Jouhou Enban" (特別情報円盤) .
It is a demo disk for the games mentioned and was included as a regular bonus disk in "YES!" by Himeya Soft.

As a side note does this mean that the Screenshots page might get the Japanese Kanji names added to it so finding games is a bit more easier?

Yes, the updates are scheduled like this :

- add games in the list to finish once and for all with my "unsorted" folder,
- add screenshots,
- add japanese names using Gontajin's list and track errors with it.
