Does anyone ever successfully get its BGM work?
(Certainly I set the BGM option on in the setting menu before getting into the game.)

I've tried Anex86, Neko Project II and T98-Next, but unfortunately none of them work.
Although I can still play Pool of Radiance with sound effects, there is no BGM.

Any ideas?

You need SOUND.ROM.

Well, I've already got one in the folder.
Is there anything I should do to hook it?

From the tag Device-Sound option-86 of Neko Project,
If I check on "ROM", the game gets stuck after leaving the setting page at the startup.
If I check it off, the game runs with only sound effects, no BGM.

As for T98-Next and Anex86, with SOUND.ROM in the folder,
only sound effects and no BGM.

Something else to adjust?

I think your SOUND.ROM is incorrect. CRC32 should be 80eabfde or a21ef796.

Try using the emulators from this pack.

Yes! That's the problem.
As I replace SOUND.ROM, I can hear BGM.
Thanks a lot...

It's strange that other games run just fine even I had the incorrect SOUND.ROM...

Yes, it's tricky because only a few older games actually require the sound rom. And Anex86 doesn't even utilize the sound rom, so the sound in these games won't ever work in that emulator.
