Hi everyone,

I have a PC9821 An and I am trying to convert the "Analog RGB" signal to VGA so that I can use it on my NEC multisync 1550V LCD monitor. I ordered a converter but unfortunately it was female-to-female which does not help because the Analog RGB video out is female. I have been given an Analog RGB to VGA cable but unfortunately no signal appears on the Multisync when I use it, and from what I could tell the multisync should be able to output video from the PC98.

What should I do?

Just get a gender changer for the converter. "Should accept" is a concept to be taken with a grain of salt when it comes to Japanese PC's and their odd arse RGB signals.
