Has anyone been able to get the PC98 version to work?

I've gotten the regular PC version to work (Although not in a PC98 emulator, obviously)

However, the PC98 version just exits when the game starts:

Yeah, actually I have a couple versions (all nonfunctional, except for the PC version) which I guess represent different stages of the demo... the main one I have looks like the SD2 Finalty movie here:

Links are bad again. I don't suppose someone could re-upload? Sorry to be a bother - totally missed these.

Many thanks! I'm going through all the old uploads/requests threads and finding some great gems. Thanks!

Does someone here on the forum have a working image file (disk or hdi) for the full version of finalty? The links above are dead.

I recently stumbled across the Bio100% collection part 2 somewhere in the net (don't know where anymore). In there was a hdi and 2 fdi files. I am able to load up disk or hdi images in the different pc98 emus, but that's it for me. I have no deep knowledge here... But somehow I managed to start the game via MS-DOS boot disk and learned that it is actually an installer (Bio Free Game Collection Installer). Then there are a lot of choices to make/paths to define/drive letters to enter/and other stuff to read and to do. But I do not understand japanese. But somehow I managed to install the games once so I would find them on my c: partition if I remember correctly. But they are not there anymore. And I don't know what to do again. Tried a lot of times... :(

So hopefully someone can help me and explain the way for properly installing Finalty to play it or rather help me out with the image as mentioned above.

...eight year necro? That's impressive in its own way.

Anyway, on the positive side, this reminded me I actually have a bunch of BIO 100% games I never really experimented with. I just... put them in a directory and forgot about them for the better part of a decade.

However, upon running it once more, I can establish a couple of things:

The standard version still works in DosBox.

...and I did get the PC-98 version to work... for whatever reason FINALTY.BAT just ran a demo that terminated when you hit a key... and FINALTYB.BAT runs the real game.

Anyway, spruced up the image so it plays automatically (and appears to work, at least under T98-Next)

Here's the disk image, ready to go:

I'll probably add it to my site with the next update.
