Here is a game... sorry, "interactive movie", called Alexworld. It requires a 486 so you need a slightly powerful computer for emulation. I recommend to burn the CD instead of mounting it because it just adds extra CPU overhead to mount it.

Since it was published by NEC, it's marked as PC9800 series, PC 9821 etc, but it's actually a Windows 3.1 game. I was actually looking for the Macintosh version for a while but I couldn't find it, so I got this one instead. You can run it in Dosbox.

I recommend to install D-Fend Reloaded.
Then extract the VirtualHD folder from the download, and in your D-Fend profile, make the drives tab look like this.

Then once that folder is mounted as the C drive and the disc is mounted, type "c:" to go to the c drive, type "cd windows" to change to windows dir, then type win to start win 3.1

Then go to main -> file manager and from there you can run the install and make sure you install the "video for windows" extension as well.

The manual doesnt say anything about the game story. It seems to be about a dystopian future where robots are poorly treated by humans. Alex is the name of your companion robot that frees you from jail after you are framed for killing someone. I will upload scans of the box and manual later but it doesn't offer any useful information.

There is a database a few minutes in. To read it you need to activate Japanese input with alt+tilde. Then you can type what you want to read about in hiragana. You can only type the words shown in red. I didn't play past this part but the game seems to work fine even though the movies run at 5fps. I have a save file in the VirtualHD folder which is ALEX.SAV, which is the part where you find the database.

Let me know if dosbox doesn't work for you and I will try to help you.

If you want to install Windows 3.1 by yourself, I got it from here

And follow the instructions from here

Give this person a round of applause!

Thank you bakuDD! I hope we can have dumps of The Saboten Man, Jungle Park, Clone Ranger, Labyrinth, and The Alius soon (I know Macaw has the lattermost game).

Mostly I collect Japanese Macintosh games, I know about Jungle Park because it has a Mac version, and I see that the Windows version is in stock on Amazon

I'll be putting this game on ebay soon if anyone wants to buy it from me.

Any news on Labyrinthe / Labyrinth (Horror Tour 3)?

Also been looking for like crazy Putle Story and Pantos Story, can't seem to find them even on Suruga, not available but at some point they were for sale there.

I guess Noah's Ark is still hard to find, still... Along with other ones.

Thanks for all your efforts and saw that Jungle Park is still for sale, but the Macintosh version has been dumped somewhere? (I saw the French version uploaded in Archive.org but not the JP ver.)
