I've found a few mentions of KryoFlux in the PC-98 forum. I've even seen a screenshot from peter_j showing a custom PC98 image format. I have a KryoFlux with a 5.25" floppy and I'd like to archive and backup some PC-9801 disks that I recently acquired.

Does anyone have either the DTC.exe command or the KryoFlux UI config values (image type, extension, start track, end track, side mode, sector size, sector count, track distance, target RPM, flippy mode & other params) needed to backup PC-98 disks in a format usable by emulators?

I'm not at my Kryoflux machine now, but by recollection, using the GUI:

- Copy the KF MFM Sector Image parameter set
- Extension: hdm or xdf ( same thing )
- Start Track: 0
- End Track: 76
- Side Mode: Both
- Sector Size: 1024
- Sector Count: 8
- Track Distance: 80
- Target RPM: 360
- Flippy mode unchecked

That should work for a normal disk, but there are .hdb ( BASIC ) ones with a first track encoded FM.

I'll check this tonight.

Tonight:
