Hey guys, I just wanted to post my question here, so maybe there will be more answers...

I am looking for games that are Halloween-themed, horror-themed or that have some kind of spooky atmosphere. H-games preferably...

So far, I got:
Nocturnal Illusion (sorry not for the pc98)
DiviDead (also not for the pc98)

Trickless suggested Dead of the Brain
Ikuragami suggested Saya no Uta (not for pc98, sorry)

Any other suggestions?

Dracula Hakusyaku
Circle Mate (I'm stuck there in pixel hunting H-scene  )
Tasogare no Kyoukai
Yuugiri: Ningiyushi no Isan

Not sure about "Messenger from Dark Night" because despite its "suitable" name game looks more like school comedy >_> Although I didn't play much...

Is it posted anywhere on this forum?

Sweet Home for the SNES is evidently good (it's the inspiration for Resident Evil).
White Day is said, by many, to be one of the scariest games ever.
And I hear The Witch's House is really good; reminds me of Corpse Party.

You should also check out the live action movie they made at the same time as the video game.

It's not the greatest film of all time but it's worth watching.

I've also found out Isaku 遺作 spawned two OAV series. Haven't watched them yet so I'll keep you posted

Actually there was more OAV-s. First series is quite good sticking to the game's plot, but the rest is only a faint shadow of the original.

Kuro No Danshou
Es no Houteishiki
Marine Philt
Taxi Genmutan
Marginal Storys (contains 3 short stories, the first one is horror)
Zatsuon Ryouiki
Zeta

Completed Taxi Genmutan several months ago, got all 44 endings, therefore don't think it can be called horror. One or two (of 9 total) stories can be considered thriller, but not horror.
