I've reached level Two of TNM and I realise I need to give something to Charon. Based on the walkthrough (google translated) I found, I assume you get it when you beat the gargoyle thing at the begining of this area. I beat it and the women next to it looked up and said something and some text apeared afterwards, but when looking in my inventory (esc, the top option) I find nothing, just a whole screen of blank blue squares. Similarly, on the first area before the Gate, I talk to some guy and some options pop up and I choose the one on the right and left and yet nothing happens, and nothing is added to my inventory.

Is this a glitch or do I get to the items differently/do I have to use some key to pick them up ?
